ABOUT
MY STORY
MEET THE MAKER
I am a jewellery designer/maker and educator living and running my own practice in Dublin. I began my love of all things metal while studying Antique Restoration which then led onto a degree in Jewellery & Objects in N.C.A.D. Dublin, where I currently teach part time. Inspired by my time working as an assistant with designers in the Netherlands, I have continued to investigate my interest in form, shape, colour and texture. I take my inspiration from everyday rhythms and patterns in natural and manmade architecture.
ALWAYS OBSESSED WITH JEWELLERY
My own garden is a great source of ideas especially the decay and regrowth process of plants. I work mostly with precious metals but still continue to use a mixture of alternative materials. I have exhibited work in various galleries across Europe, my most recent work was selected to exhibit in the "Awe and Alchemy" exhibition of new works in Armagh Market Place Theatre Gallery in September 2023 and the "Ag 925-Au750 Journeys in Silver and Gold" group show in the Craft NI gallery, Belfast.
